Business Banking Services
Your business requires services that are convenient and add value to your employees. Unitus offers merchant and payroll services to keep your business running smart and efficient.
Business Checking Accounts
Depending on the needs of your business, we offer two different checking account options:
What You Will Need to Open a Business Checking Account
-
- Employer Identification Number (EIN)
- Business organizational filing documents, either physically or digitally*
- All principals and authorized signers at the account opening, so that Unitus may verify signatures
- For each account owner and signer:
- Primary form of ID, usually a valid driver’s license with a current address. If address is not current, bring a document such as a utility bill showing your current address
- Secondary form of ID, usually a debit or credit card from another financial institution
- A business membership opening deposit of $115 ($5 for the business prime share, a $10 one-time membership fee, and $100 to open your business checking account)
- If a tax-exempt organization, a copy of the IRS 501(c) (3) approval letter
As the owner of Bread & Honey Cafe, I’ve always loved Unitus. As soon as they moved into the neighborhood they have been the most supportive people. I feel like they really understand how hard it is to be a small business.
Business Savings Accounts
