Unitus Branch at Junior Achievement BizTown

In October 2023, we proudly opened a Unitus Branch at Junior Achievement of Oregon and SW Washington’s BizTown, becoming the first credit union in the region to establish a branch at this popular learning experience in a simulated town.

JA BizTown combines in-class learning with a day-long visit to a simulated town. This popular learning experience allows elementary school students to operate banks, manage restaurants, write checks, and vote for mayor.

Students can connect the dots between what they learn in school and the real world.

Community Support

Here are just some organizations we’re passionate about supporting:

  • Dream Come True - Oregon State Football & Basketball

    Unitus, Beaver Sports Properties, and Oregon State have partnered to create the Dream Come True Program for children who are battling or have battled an unfortunate illness.

  • Rose Festival Court Mentor Program

    Unitus is proud to be the presenting sponsor of the Rose Festival Court. We pair a Unitus mentor to each princess to provide career advice and leadership guidance.

  • Clackamas Service Center Food Hub

    Unitus’ multi-year commitment to Clackamas Service Center’s Food Hub helped CSC expand into a new warehouse space, increasing their food storage capacity by 8,000 square feet for more donations and community distributions.

  • Western Oregon University Bilingual Scholars Program

    Unitus partners with Western Oregon University to support and expand their Bilingual Teachers Scholars Program, which provides education and mentorship to become Spanish-English bilingual teachers.
