Credit Unions do so much good working together

During last year’s annual CU4Kids auction at the NWCUA MAXX Convention, we and fellow credit unions together presented OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital with a check for $170,000, along with a donation of state-of-the-art electric kids’ cars to transport our smallest patients from their rooms to medical appointments.

Unitus employees joined the East Vancouver community in assembling 10,000 food boxes for non-profit Generosity Feeds at Illahee Elementary School!

After filling the boxes (in only 75 minutes!), we were thrilled to present our donation of $600 to help children in Clark County who struggle with hunger outside school hours.

The 2019 Portland Rose Festival Court has officially been selected!

We look forward to spending time throughout the next few months with these 15 remarkable young ladies from high schools all over Portland Metro.

Be sure to follow our mentorship journey on Unitus’ social media as we complete a community service activity at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, host a financial workshop, and arrange a job shadow opportunity for each princess in her career field of choice.

When she’s not out volunteering and building relationships in the community, you can find her exploring new running trails that the great PNW has to offer. The rugged Wildwood Trail is among her favorites.
