In recent news: #TeamUnitus Gets Behind the Diaper Drive

Did you know that 1 in 3 families struggles to afford diapers? During the holidays, many of these families are forced to choose between buying food for their family or diapers for their baby.

No family should have to make this choice. So this holiday season, Unitus teamed up with PDX Diaper Bank and other local non-profits to get diapers to the tiniest members in our community.

How much did we donate, all told?

• More than 12,000 diapers
• More than 12,500 wipes
• More than 120 other necessities, varying from baby ointment to new play pens
• More than $350 in monetary donations

Big thank you to #TeamUnitus for helping to make this holiday a little brighter for those in need! When we all give a little bit, it makes a HUGE impact for our community.

Become a Children’s Cancer Association Joy Maker in partnership with your fellow Unitus members!

Throughout February, we’re going to make a difference and bring our community together.

We’re going to create JOY for kids who need more than medicine in their battle against serious illness.

How, you ask? Starting February 1, stop by your local Unitus branch to purchase a paper heart or visit CCA Joy Makers any time to donate.

Through Feb 26: Apply now for a 2020-21 Scholarship!

This year, we are excited to team up with Scholarship America to offer scholarships to hardworking students. They are one of the nation’s best programs providing scholarships, tuition assistance and other education support.

We will award seven educational scholarships of $2,500 each to graduating high school seniors or undergraduate students who are members of Unitus Community Credit Union, or are a child dependent of a Unitus employee.

• Applications are due February 26 by 1:00 PM PST
• All scholarship applicants, whether selected or not, will be notified of the decision by May 1.
• Selected applicants will receive disbursements in early August.
